Cilia and Flagella

Flagella are longe so there are less of them needed to move the cell.

Cilia and flagella are commonly found on protists, which are a kind of eukaryote. the cilia help to sweep water and food particles into the mouth, while the flagella mostly pushes it through water.

Cilia and Flagella consist of a membrane on their outer surface, and have an internal structure, which is made up of nine pairs of microtubules around two central tubules.

Cilia are shorter and there are a lot of them.

Cilia and Flagella: hairlike sturcutres that come out from the surface of cells an help it to move on its own.

Cilias on the inner ear help detect sound through vibrations.
